Sales Specialist Cyber Security - ABB Facts
Are you a driven, ambitious sales professional looking for a new challenge in an exciting, high tech environment? ABB’s fast-growing FACTS Services unit, based in Västerås, and a part of Power Grids division, is looking for an energetic individual who is prepared totake on a large degree of responsibility to further grow our Digital and Cyber Security Portfolio.
FACTS technology enables power system owners to increase capacity within existing power systems. As a result, greater amounts of power reach customers with minimal environmental impact and at lower investment costs.
In this role, you will be in direct contact with end customers and local ABB companies and work closely with the FACTS Service Sales team. You will be a part of ABBs Digital and Cyber Security Community and will operate in a global arena with a large number of international contacts. This position offers much exposure and serves as an excellent development and career opportunity – in the domestic and international arenas.
You will be accountable for the long term profitable growth and marketing of the FACTS Service Digital and Cyber Security Portfolio. You will develop and execute the digital sales strategy and business plans (solution roadmap, financial targets) by collaborating with Product Management.
You will also:
- Establish and maintain effective customer relationship to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full Portfolio.
- Prepare offers and when it is required co-ordinate with commercial, technical and legal specialists, as well as taking full responsibility for risk management processes
- Work closely with the Area Sales Managers in the FACTS Service Sales team and support in Digital and Cyber Security end-customer discussions
- Lead market intelligence analysis. Capture outside market situation and opportunities, customer drivers and digitalization needs
Ideally, you hold a degree in Engineering or equivalent, and have several years’ professional experience. It is likely that you currently work in ABB, or a similar business. You have a proven track record in Digital Sales, and you have knowledge within in the realm of Cyber Security. You also have knowledge of commercial and legal terminology. Experience of industry or utility FACTS applications would be an advantage.
Given this role’s international dimension, fluency in English is required. You are pro-active, and highly customer and result focused. You have excellent market and competitor awareness, and your energetic approach is matched by your ability to manage at times, a high work load.
