Student/Back-end Developer to Qognica

Qognica is a startup company specialized in predictions based on advanced AI, mathematical and economic models. These predictions are used for strategic decisions in investments, finances and industry.

We are now looking for students who wants to work part time during study. We offer a dynamic and intellectually stimulating work environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking. It’s a great opportunity for a Back-end developer with a strong academic record to play a major role in a small exciting start-up in Västerås.

Qognica is developing a platform for making predictions based on advanced mathematical, AI and economic models. In the current product development phase, we are looking for persons to join our team in developing the backend systems of our platform with high skills in Python and Mathematics.

It is important that you have good knowledge in Python and are a technically knowledgeable person in software systems that will be able to have a basic understanding of our technical platform as a whole.

As a person we would like to see you being open-minded, have your own ideas and solutions and trying to ask the right questions to find the problems in existing/future structures. And we believe you are an easy-going person that wants to be part of an exciting team and help shape the company as a whole. We are located in Västerås, but you can for sure also work remote. 

High priority skills (multiple of): Python, SciPy, NumPy, Statistics, Pandas, Keras, Tensor Flow, Matplotlib, PyTorch and Linalg.
